Last week I checked my chain before my ride on saturday, seemed a tiny bit loose but ok to ride, looking back she was a little on the dry side. Anyway after the end of the ride, did about 600km and the chain was retardedly loose. I could touch the swingarm and still had plenty of slack left. I've got maybe 1/3 of an inch left of adjustment I can tighten it by, but the nut is very starting to strip a little and with the chain being as loose as it is (was also too hot to touch bare-hand when I rolled in), and that it's the one that came on my bike(put about 14000km since I baught it a year ago). I got back later into town for the long weekend and couldnt make it to a bike shop to pick-up a new chain(also too busy working during the week). Sprockets look ok I think so I just really want to get another chain on so I can ride the next 3 days without worrying if my chain is gonna let go and whip a hole in the bottom of my case or lock my rear wheel. I'll pay extra over what it cost for a new one if somebody has one kicking around, or pay a fair price to get a used chain that still has some life in it. If anybody can help me out it'd be very much appreciated and I'm sure I can throw a 6 or 12 pack their way or put a tank of gas in their tank if I can get her in tip-top shape ready to spend the weekend in the twisty roads, lol. Anybody atleast have any input as to rather or not they think it should hold up and that if it fails how likely it is to lock up my rear wheel vs just coming off in some other way? I mean if nobodys got anything I could just tighten it as much as I can, lube it up, and say fuck it, ride it like it is and hope for the best. Because my quad is down still so the only way I'm riding this weekend is if I throw a leg over the R6, and there is no way in hell I'm going the whole weekend without riding it.

I have a brand new chain here that my stepson cut too short for his dirtbike, it's a Sunline 520 in the gold color. What size do you need ans how many links does it call for? I'm pretty sure it would fit a street bike because dirtbike chains are longer. I'll count them again but i think it has 115 links. I'm in Moncton. 859-4809
