Is anybody else having a hard time selling their bike?

A couple months ago people were all over it.
Stupidly I backed out of a sale thinking it would be no problem to sell it in another month.
Now I'm not getting a single inquiry and I'm even asking less.
Anybody else having trouble? Is it the time of year?

I'm seeing a lot less interest than I thought I would on my GS500F (viewtopic.php?f=23&t=9238) and the guy I just bought the GS400 from had it on the market for a long time, and it was cheap.

I think it's just a slow market for vehicles right now, and bikes moreso.

Kinda sucks.
It's my own fault but regardless. The wife is gonna pop out the baby any day now, was hoping for some extra $$ for some house upgrades. Looks like it's not gonna happen. I don't want to lose a bunch of money just to sell the bike. :angry-banghead:

I wouldnt give it away. The right buyer will come. Best time is at the begining of the summer though when everyone is horney for a new bike.

Yeah, I'll keep mine for the winter rather than take a lowball offer. Sucks if you need the cash though.

Look on the bright side Sean, at least this way you'll have something to get you out of the house if the baby is bawling

Same here, friend of mine has a really nice black streched Busa with pipe and PCIII. Kids say they're afraid of it. Geez! It's a Busa, not a Baja!!!

Have been trying to sell my brothers bike (my old one) and not a single inquiry, it's off to the auto barn within a week or 2 to be sold there, they are selling bikes like crazy over there, but I think its just slow... were not even getting any hits on my moms Acura SUV and it's a beautiful vehicle...

I had an '07 Shadow for sale all of May & June, ended up having to trade it at the Toy Store, couldn't sell it private...market is flooded with them.
Good luck on your sale, if you can wait it out, the right buyer is always out there.

Most people are already riding and have purchased their bikes months ago. The only people buying bikes now are those that are looking for a deal. Wait til spring!

I had to pretty much give the Katana away, the only people interested seemed to be low-ballers or people who wanted to trade for old pickups and such.

Seems nobody is in buying mode or something. I figured your FZ would go in no time at all.
